T221 series PCIe timing cards can be used to provide high precision time information for computer systems. The card can use satellite receiver, IRIG-B, 1PPS+TOD or PTP signals as time reference, and transmit time information and timing interrupt signals to the computer through the PCIe bus interface to synchronize the computer software time with the time of the card. When a reference source is abnormal, it can be automatically switched to other valid reference sources; even if all the reference time sources are cut off, the internal high-stability crystal of the board can still operate continuously within a certain time precision paradigm, and continue to provide the system with more accurate time signals, which greatly improves the reliability of the system's continuous operation.
